BLACKBURN College hosted an entrepreneurial event for high school pupils.
Blackburn Central High School and Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School took part in the Global Entrepreneurship Week, which was supported by the Hive Business School.
The event included masterclasses from a range of individuals and organisations including Neil Hough from the BBC’s Apprentice, Blackburn Rovers, Crown Paints, Boost Lancashire Business Hub and Blackburn Youth Zone.
The week was launched with a ‘Meet the entrepreneurs’ event which saw group of high achieving, young entrepreneurs share invaluable advice and inspiration with the students.
Ian Brown, Director of the Hive Network said: “It was fantastic to see so many college students and local school pupils benefitting from the experience of the young North West entrepreneurs.
“The Hive Business School is all about creating business engagement opportunities for our young people and it was inspiring to hear the journeys of these award-winning companies”
