Paper lanterns
A GOGGLEBOX favourite will attend this year's carol service.
Blackburn's Community Carol Service will take place on December 16 at Blackburn cathedral.
The service will begin at 3.30pm and Gogglebox star Reverend Kate Bottley will attend.
The service will be followed by the Festival of Light at 4.30pm.
The festival will include fire performers, street food and music.
A lantern parade will travel around the town centre which will be followed by a grand firework finale.
Those wishing to get involved with the parade are welcome to attend lantern making workshops at the Bureau Centre for the Arts in Victoria Street.
Workshops will being on November 19 from 11am until 5pm and will run weekly until December 10.
