A BUSINESSWOMAN says she is thrilled to have been nominated for a top tourism award.
Laura Johnson, from Clayton-le-Moors, founded events company Crafty Vintage and has been nominated to become Tourism Superstar 2017 of Lancashire.
Crafty Vintage was formed to help small independent companies to flourish and sell their goods and help to sell their collections of vintage, retro wares, collectables and handmade wares.
She said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have been nominated and to be in with a chance of winning this prestigious award.”
Crafty Vintage often holds events at sites such as Brockholes Nature Reserve, Holmes Mill and Accrington Town Hall.
The winner is chosen by public vote at lancashiretourismawards.com and will be awarded on November 9. Voting closes on October 19.
