A MAN has been banned from getting behind the wheel for three years after admitting to drink-driving.
Blackburn magistrates heard Idnan Khaliq, 29, of Lincoln Road in Blackburn, committed the offence in Burnley on November 11.

The court was told Khaliq had 42 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath whilst driving a Citroen along Active Way.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Magistrates were also told Khaliq committed the offence while banned and without valid insurance.
Khaliq was banned from driving for three years and he was ordered to do 240 hours’ unpaid work.
Magistrates also ordered the defendant to pay £85 prosecution costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
A charge that he was driving without a valid licence was dismissed.
