A MAN and a woman were taken to hospital after collapsing in Blackburn town centre.
At around 3.15pm, two ambulances and a police car arrived at the scene outside Cash Converters in Darwen Street.
An eye witness said: “The man and woman were stood there smoking and then suddenly collapsed.
“When the paramedics arrived they weren’t moving and were carried into the back of the ambulances, it was very frightening.”
