A TEENAGER was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after the car he was allegedly driving crashed through a fence and overturned in a farmer’s field.
The incident happened in Haslingden Old Road, Blackburn, at 1am on Saturday and involved a black Fiat Punto.

The 17-year-old male driver of the car, from Rossendale, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and remained in custody yesterday. A police spokesman said he had only recently passed his driving test.
The male passenger of the car was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with a serious cut to his face.
Lancs Road Police Tweeted: “Road traffic collision in Haslingden Old Road, Blackburn – one vehicle involved, two occupants lucky to be alive.”
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
