A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with head injuries after being hit by a car in Blackburn.
The incident, involving a 36-year-old woman, happened in Harwood Street around 12pm today and she was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
A police spokesman said her injuries were minor.
The spokesman said: "At 12pm on May 25 we received reports that a woman had tried to step out in front of a wagon in Harwood Street, Blackburn. We have then received a second report that a woman has been in collision with a Vauxhall Corsa. She was taken to hospital but her injuries are thought to be minor."
The male driver of the Corsa, who is in his 40s, was not injured.
