INVESTIGATORS have released CCTV images of four men they believe could have vital information about an attack on two men in a Blackburn bar.

The incident, which resulted in both victims aged 21 and 30 needing hospital treatment, happened in Liquid/Envy, in St Peter Street.

They both suffered extensive facial injuries.

One of the men underwent surgery on a fractured eye socket and was also treated for a cut to the face which required stitches.

The other victim received a broken nose in the attack which has also required surgery.

Police said they were keen to trace four men who were captured leaving the club on CCTV shortly after the incident took place at 3am on August 3.

Det Con Rachel Higson of Lancashire Police said: “This was a nasty attack which left the two victims with extensive injuries.

“I am particularly keen to trace the four men pictured on the CCTV images and I would urge anyone who recognises them to contact us.

“I would also appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this attack or who may have any information that could assist with our investigation to come forward.”
