Kevin Horkin, Vicky Entwistle and Nigel Evans try to persuade Scotland to stay with Britain
RIBBLE Valley MP Nigel Evans has teamed up with an ex-Coronation Street star and the former mayor of Clitheroe to send a ‘love message to the people of Scotland’.
In a 17-second video posted on Facebook, Mr Evans, Vicky Entwistle, who played Janice Battersby in the soap, and Coun Kevin Horkin, who all have Union Jack flags draped over them, plead with Scots to vote ‘no’ to independence in the referendum on Thursday.
Each takes it in turn to say they ‘love Great Britain’, before Vicky adds: “But without Britain, the great falls away.”
They then say in unison: “So, vote no on Thursday.”
