THE ‘shoulds’, ‘musts’ and ‘oughts’ of bereavement support are set to be explained during a workshop at the end of the month.

The interactive workshop has been orgainsed by East Lancashire Hospice, alongside the Oliver Robert Jordan Foundation and Cruse.

It will aim to provide education to improve bereavement support for people in the community.

The workshop will also provide people with an opportunity to reflect on the experience of bereavement and loss, and empower them to provide effective support to the people they meet in a professional, or personal, capacity.

It will be led by Barbara Rosenthal, of Cruse, and Hazel Blacklock, the Blackburn hospice’s bereavement support co-ordinator.

The free course will take place on Monday, June 30, at the hospice, from 9.30am until 4pm.
