SINGER Diana Vickers hit the red carpet at the weekend for the premiere of the latest Hollywood blockbuster.
The 22-year-old former pupil of Westholme School, Blackburn, attended the European premiere of Godzilla at the Odeon Leicester Square in central London on Sunday.
In a series of tweets, the she said she had ‘got her glad rags on’ and even tweeted from her seat minutes before the film rolled.
Diana, who made her film debut in The Perfect Wave in 2013, was one of the first in Europe to watch the new Godzilla film and swapped her usual fresh-faced look for something a bit darker.
The American science fiction film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Bryan Cranston.
Diana, who reached the semi-final of The X Factor in 2008, has recently been seen in The Duck House in London’s West End.
The play was set in May 2009, when Gordon Brown’s Government was in meltdown.
