LANCASHIRE’S police and crime commissioner is urging employers to know the signs of stalking.
It comes after Clive Grunshaw leant his support to National Stalking Awareness Day, which happened last week.
Mr Grunshaw said: “Everybody has the right to work without fear. Stalking in the workplace can have devastating consequences for victims.
“Statistics show that one in five women and one in 10 men are stalked at some point in their life.”
He invited employers to download a guide on dealing with stalking in the workplace from www.suzylamplugh.org
