VEHICLES were forced to swerve to avoid a pair of ladders that had fallen onto the M66 caused this morning.
Greater Manchester Police received calls shortly after 7.20am after cars were forced to avoid the obstruction a mile away from junction two.
No accidents were caused by the ladders which were removed shortly afterwards.
