'Angry and frustrated' Blackburn man receives conditional discharge
11:02am Wednesday 21st August 2013 in News
A 24-YEAR-OLD man kicked out at a Perspex panel as he left a job centre interview ‘angry and frustrated’.
Blackburn magistrates heard former soldier Scott Kieron Chinery had become dependant on cannabis since leaving the Army and this affected his mood.
After an unsuccessful attempt to get money owed to him he said he kicked the panel out of frustration.
Chinery, 24, of Bute Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to damage.
He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £200 compensation and £20 costs.
