Clitheroe Food Festival takes place this Saturday

FINAL preparations are being made for the Clitheroe Food Festival which takes place on Saturday.
The annual free event will feature more than 100 food and drink producers from across East Lancashire and will include farmhouse cheeses, Chorley and Eccles cakes, international award-winning black puddings and Lancashire pineapple chutney.
Celebrity chefs including Nigel Haworth alongside BBC food critic and Great British Menus judge Matthew Fort will be there.
There will also be industry experts giving advice on everything from selecting the finest coffees and how to dress a grouse to mini wine schools.
The festival will be held from 9.30am to 4.30pm culminating in Proms in the Park and firework display at 7pm.
