Blackburn man repaid help with theft

A 34-year-old man repaid the hospitality of two friends by stealing from them.

Blackburn magistrates heard brothers Damien and Joseph Warren had provided a roof over Frederick David Hallett’s head after he was made redundant and was struggling financially.

And his response was to steal a laptop computer and an iPad which he later sold to a second hand shop.

Hallett, of Pleasington Close, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to stealing the property worth £750.

He was committed on bail to Preston Crown Court for sentence after the court heard he was in breach of a 16 week suspended prison sentence imposed by the Crown Court.

don`t forget if your struggling to pay the bedroom tax, you can always take in a lodger.

i was told this by TVH, but they don`t have a list of approved people. so this or worse could happen to you (and you might not even be covered by insurance).
