PRIVATE medical insurance intermediary Chase Templeton has recruited Warren Dickson as its new chief executive.

Dickson has joined the Blackburn firm from specialist disability broker Fish Insurance where he was managing director.

His appointment is designed to strengthen Chase Templeton’s executive team with co-founder and former CEO Kevin Amphlett switching roles to become group chairman.

Dickson joined Fish as sales and marketing director in 2007 before taking on the broker’s top job.

Prior to that he was sales and marketing director with motorcycle specialist Carole Nash, the company with whom he started his career in 1992.

Mr Amphlett said: “Because I was looking to hand over the reins of the business I founded this was not a decision I took either quickly or lightly. I have been tracking Warren’s progress for some time and identified that he has not just exceptional ability but is a strong and inspirational leader.

“His performance at Fish has been stellar, his energy and drive taking the firm to record profitability through enviable organic growth. His marketing expertise and the ideas he has for increasing our own organic growth are sure to yield results as we look to further expand.”
