Apprentice can work with Darwen MP
10:33am Friday 15th March 2013 in News
DARWEN MP Jake Berry is on the lookout for someone to join his team as an apprentice caseworker.
Mr Berry has offered a 12-month paid placement combining hands-on experience working for an MP with a formal qualification in business administration.
Mr Berry said: “I am a strong supporter of apprenticeships. After the success of last year’s ‘100 in 100’ campaign, I am looking to hire an apprentice caseworker to work in my constituency office.
“It is a really exciting opportunity and I am hoping to see many applications from the Darwen area.”
The successful candidate will work in the Rossendale and Darwen constituency office with time each week spent towards studying for an NVQ Level Two in business administration, delivered by North Lancashire Training Group.
