Hyndburn residents to have a say on plans

A RESIDENTS’ group is set to become an established forum which will be consulted on planning applications.

The formal request to set up a planning forum came from residents in Clayton-le-Moors and Altham.

The group is the first in Hyndburn to apply to be designated as a Neighbourhood Forum after new planning laws made the idea possible last April.

A consultation document on the plan has since been on view at Clayton Library, Accrington Library and Scaitcliffe House for consultation.
