A WOMAN has been given an 18-month suspended prison sentence for stabbing her boyfriend during an argument.
Chelsea Dagg, of Dunoon Drive, Blackburn, was sentenced at Preston Crown Court for stabbing her boyfriend Christopher Smith, in the leg, in a fit of rage, with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
The 19-year-old admitted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Judge Christopher Cornwall sentenced Dagg to 18 months in prison, suspended for 18 months, 18 months’ supervision, and ordered her to attend an alcohol awareness course.
