Proud East Lancashire parents celebrate a nappy new year

‘FANTASTIC’ Danny Zheng and Yan Ling with baby Richard
TWO Nelson couples brought in the new year with very special deliveries.
Rubima Kauser, 35, gave birth to a son, her second child, at 3am, the first arrival of 2013 at Burnley Birth Centre.
Rubima and her husband, Zakariya Rafiq, are yet to decide on a name for the new arrival, who weighed in at almost seven pounds, She said: “Our first child is now 13 and this one has arrived in 2013.
“It was like it was meant to be.”
Danny Zheng, 34, and Yan Ling, 27, also of Nelson, celebrated the arrival of their second child, Richard, at around 9am.
Danny said: “It is a great way to start the new year.
“It is fantastic.
“We have a daughter, who turns four at the end of January, and she is very excited to have a little brother.”
Richard weighed in at 7lbs 4ozs.
The third new arrival at the centre was Antony Puoculek, at around noon.
Proud parents Zibby Puoculek, 41, and Beata Zamecka, 35, are from Accrington.
