POLICE who executed a drugs search warrant at the home of a Blackburn man found 16 snap bags containing cannabis.
Blackburn magistrates heard the officers also discovered hundreds of unused bags, electronic scales and cutting equipment.
Zaheer Qureshi, 35, of Logwood Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
He was sent to Preston Crown Court to be sentenced after the magistrates heard he was in breach of a suspended prison sentence imposed for the same offence.
The magistrates were also told he had been sentenced to six years in prison for possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply in 2005.
Rachael Griffiths, defending, said it was a relatively small amount of cannabis which her client said he shared and supplied to friends.
“Clearly his previous convictions aggravate the offence,” said Miss Griffiths.
