ADDITIONAL car parking is now available at Accrington Cemetery.
A second car park has now been built as, during large services, car parking has been reaching capacity at the cemetery.
The extension was created as the main car park was getting full, and people attending services were parking their cars along the entrance driveway.
The new car park, which offers another 20 spaces, is situated approximately 70 metres to the right of the crematorium.
The new car park’s proximity to the exit driveway also makes it easier for visitors to leave the cemetery site once the service they are attending has finished.
