DAMAGE The conservatory
TWO teenagers appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with vandalising the council-owned Victorian conservatory, in Corporation Park, Blackburn.
Hundreds of windows were smashed in the listed building, in September. Mohammed Abbasi, 19, of Alexandra Road, and Zeeshan Bashir, 18, of Revidge Road, both Blackburn, pleaded not guilty to causing £6,673 damage to the building.
The case was adjourned, and the pair elected to be tried at Preston Crown Court.
