At the opening event
A NEW pavilion in a Ribble Valley village has been officially opened with a weekend of celebrations.
The £350,000 Grindleton Pavilion replaces dilapidated facilities on Grindleton Recreation Ground and includes new changing rooms, showers, toilets and a community room and kitchen.
It opened with a party and fireworks on Saturday followed by a football match between Grindleton All stars and the current team yesterday. The pavilion is a joint venture between Grindleton Recreation Ground Charity and Grindleton FC.
