DARWEN beauty queen Cheryl Jepson is appealing for people to volunteer to help Breast Cancer Care.
Mrs Lancashire 2012 winner Cheryl has pledged to get involved with some fundraising for the charity.
She said: “My nan is a survivor of the disease so it is a subject that is close to my family’s hearts.
“I know that Breast Cancer Care do great work to support those people living with a diagnosis.
“This work would not be possible without the time and dedication of volunteers and I urge people to get behind the charity and give the gift of your time this year.”
Volunteering opportunities include bucket collections, fundraising or representing the charity at an event.
