A Blackburn man has been charged with the murder of 88-year-old retired lecturer Christopher Procter.
Anthony Curry, 38, of Gretna Walk, Blackburn, will appear before Blackburn Magistrates Court tomorrow morning charged with murder, arson, theft and burglary.
Clare Randall, 30, of Gretna Walk, Blackburn, has been charged with theft and has also been remanded into custody to appear before Blackburn Magistrates tomorrow.
The body of Mr Proctor was discovered following a fire at his home address in Pleckgate Road, Blackburn, on Saturday, November 10.
