Former Big Brother contestant Becky Hannon does the honours to launch the Christmas fair at St James church hall, Lower Darwen, helped by Sam Horobin, 16, co-organiser of the event.

Bubbly Becky shot to fame as a housemate in the popular Five show this summer when she narrowly missed out on £50,000 prize money.

So many negative people in this workd. I didn't really know who Becky was as I don't watch BB, however I was at the Christmas fair and she was a lovely, warm, friendly girl who chatted to everyone and the children loved her so I just wanted to add my positive comment.
