THREE-year-old Finley Rosbotham, who was born paralysed down his left side and with part of his brain missing, will switch on Accrington’s Christmas lights on November 24.
A fun fair will be held all day in Broadway before live entertainment with R&B artist Angel starts at 5pm on the Rock FM stage outside the Market Hall.
The lights will be turned on at 7pm and a fireworks display will end the celebrations.
Coun Clare Pritchard, deputy leader of Hyndburn Council, said; “We’ve listened to what local people and traders said about the event and moved the show to a Saturday, when people have more time to get ready and enjoy the fun.
“It’s set to be a fabulous day, the biggest and best yet, with lots of entertainment, fun, fireworks and the chance to start your Christmas shopping.”
