An evofit of the burglar
AN EVOFIT has been released of a man police want to speak to in relation to five attempted burglaries.
Detectives have released the image as they renew their appeal for the public’s help to identify the man seen in the Brownhill and Wilpshire area of Blackburn.
During each attempted burglary the offender has unsuccessfully tried to force entry through a rear patio door.
He is described as white, between 36 and 45-years-old, with dark brown hair and a moustache.
He is also described as being smartly dressed with a collar and tie and a lanyard or identity card around his neck.
Sgt Eric Halford, of Blackburn’s Target Team, said: “These offences appear amateurish which may explain the unusual description of the offender as I believe the person responsible may have committed these offences for the first time.
“These offences targeted an area with a high elderly and vulnerable population it is imperative that people come forward and assist us.”
The offences took place between 2pm and 5pm on September 20.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
