Workers put out industrial fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Cunliffe Road in Whitebirk, Blackburn, shortly after 7am on Saturday after an industrial soldering machine at Invertec caught fire. A crew from Blackburn attended but the fire had been put out by workers before their arrival. Slight damage was caused to the flux.
