SHOPPERS in East Lancashire were treated to a touch of glamour as the reigning Miss England paid a visit.
Katrina Hodge, 22, a serving soldier, came to Blackburn and Burnley yesterday to find entrants for the Miss Blackburn and Miss Burnley competitions, paths that could lead to the next Miss England contest.
The contests are open to 17 to 24-year-olds, and the closing date is March 12.
Katrina said: “I have met lots of friendly people and have seen plenty of potential.”
