Clean-up by residents

RESIDENTS are cleaning up the streets around their homes this Saturday.

The clean-up' session will be around the Shadsworth Road and North Road areas of Blackburn, from noon to 1.30pm.

The event, centred around Shadsworth Children's Centre, is being funded by Blackburn with Darwen Council, and all necessary equipment will be provided.

From 1.30pm to 4pm, Twin Valley Homes will provide a buffet, while there will be a grand prize draw, along with free health checks, and advice from the Job Centre and the council.

The mayor and mayoress will be visiting in the afternoon. For more information, contact Mr Gallagher on 01254 661398.

TVH love wasteing money,try spendind some on highercroft,the place is a hell hole,try sorting the teen drinking,get rid of the people who let them use there houses on friday and sat nights,
