Arrests after fight in park

A TEENAGER was taken to hospital with a suspected broken nose following an alleged fight in a park.

The 17-year-old male, and another 17-year-old, were both injured in the incident at Pleasington playing fields at 6.45pm on Monday.

Police said a number of youths had congregated at the park and there was a scuffle.

The 17-year-old was treated at Royal Blackburn Hospital.

l Two 17-year-olds and a 15-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of assault. Any witnesses are asked to contact police on 01254 51212.

Ya i have to agree not really news worthy stuff is it?,good god if they reproted things like that from 40yrs back the paper would be full every night..lol

I see your point but is a youth getting a bust nose really worthy of space in a local paper?in my opinion no,i am sure we will all have be involved in minor spats as youths but it hardly warrants coverage in the local rag does it?.
Or is amplification of deviance the telegraphs agenda?
