TWO children's centres have opened their new libraries.
Toddlers and families at Wensley Fold and Little Harwood Children's Centres, both Blackburn, will benefit from extra books and resources in the libraries.
At the dual launch, which coincided with World Book Day, children tried mask making and craft activities, and joined in with rhymetime.
Each child also received a £1 book token towards the cost of a book.
The libraries will work in partnership with libraries in the local area to encourage more children and parents to use library services and to read and enjoy books together.
Members can borrow up to three books and get fast-track membership to all other libraries in the borough.
For more details contact Sheila Moss at Little Harwood on 01254 506910 and Pam Lightbown at Wensley Fold on 01254 272940.
