A THREATENED community centre is hosting an open day this weekend.
Little Harwood Community Centre was one of four recommended for closure by a recent review, but council chiefs have vowed the centres will not be axed.
The community association, recently relaunched after 18 months, is inviting residents to go along and suggest how they think the centre should be used in the future.
Association secretary Ian Ward said: "We're trying to push the message that everybody should use the community centre more, and we will be talking about ways to improve the Little Harwood area."
The open day takes place on Saturday, from noon to 5pm.
