A high note for treble-winning Blackburn school

LAMMACK Primary School, Blackburn, pupils are celebrating their treble success at Blackburn Music Festival.

The school won first prize for primary school choirs and first prize for the highest marks of all choirs while they also won a trophy for best accompanist, Lydia Prowse.

The choir is coached by music teacher Ruth Hampson who said: "We were delighted with the quality of out performance.

"The children have worked really hard and I am very proud of them."
