Inspectors have praised the progress of a Blackburn primary school after it became subject to special measures over a year ago.
Intack Primary School, Whitebirk Road, continued to impress officials from Ofsted during its latest inspection.
Its progress was rated as 'good' and its improvement of pupils' literacy and numeracy skills was satisfactory'.
The quality of teaching and learning was also noted to have improved, although the school remains in special measures.
