    Ruling coalition to continue

THE three-way partnership in charge of Blackburn with Darwen council will continue after party leaders held talks last night.

The Conservative, Liberal Democrat and For Darwen coalition has been running the council since last May.

Following the elections on May 1, final power-sharing details have to be agreed and the new executive board will be finalised at a meeting next week.

Liberal Democrat group leader David Foster said: "We spent most of the meeting talking about the needs of the two towns, and can now agree on a programme forward."

Darwen should be very happy about this. Rigby is from round there dont know about foster but he'll do as he's told and for Darwen well. When is there going to be a for Blackburn party? Someone needs to start concentrating on this town because since this coalition has been in they have totally destroyed Blackburn.

Well thats just bloody great,Now we will have to wait for Zippy,George and Bungle, aka the puppets running the council to try and justify ripping off all the poor people facing huge wage cuts.Jump now the ship is sinking :-(

Who knows how long it will take to get our bins emptied now? The Coalition caused the strike by their ham-fisted approach to Pay and Reward and clearly don't have a clue how to end it.

Given that Labour got the highest number of votes, how can they not be included in running the Council. I thought that was why people voted.

What a load of rubbish this is 3 different parties with 3 different ideas/manifestos and agendas running one council its a disgrace. Labour has the highest vote in all parties they should be the ones running the council not rigby, foster and melia.

The micy clueless coalition are enjoying their play with power, while the real people who should be calling the shots are out, due to conning anctics. How can fat-boy Rigby be concerned about East Lancashires Health, when he is not exactly a picture of health himself. Tell the fat boy to go on a diet, before preaching to others.
