WITNESESS are being sought after a man indecently exposed himself to two 15-year-old girls at Cherry Tree train station.
The victims were on the platform waiting to board a Blackpool bound service when a man sat down in the shelter on the opposite platform and indecently exposed himself at about 7:55am.
He then walked up the steps, turned right out of the station and onto the main road.
He is described as a white man, tall and of medium build, approximately 30 years old with a shaved head.
He was said to have worn a long, beige parker style coat with the hood up, jeans and shoes.
The incident happened on Tuesday December 4 but details have onlu just been released by police.
Officers from the British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses and information and believe that there were approximately eight members of the public on the same platform as the victims at the time of the incident.
they believe they may all have vital information for the investigation, in particular one witness who told the victims that she too had witnessed the incident.
PC Tom Nichols said: "I am appealing for anyone who was on the platform at around 7.55am to come forward with information. I am also appealing for anyone who regularly uses the station and recognizes the description of the offender to contact BTP."
"The two young victims were left very shaken and upset following this incident and it is vital that this man is caught."
