Olympic challenge for kids in Blackburn and Darwen

A SUMMER of Olympic challenges will be held to encourage children to take part in a range of sports.
The Blackburn with Darwen sports development team will offer coaching sessions in a variety of sports including cricket, rugby, football, netball, tennis, hockey and basketball. They will teach basic and fundamental skills, improve existing skills and enhance game play through mini games. Sessions will take place at Darwen Leisure Centre from Monday, August 6, until Friday, August 10, between 9am and 12.30pm.
Sessions are open to children aged nine to 16 years old and costs £5 per child.
Coaching will also take place at Shadsworth Leisure Centre and Pleckgate High School later in the school holidays.
