ON SHOW Nigel Haworth and Lisa Allen play host
A HOST of celebrity chefs will be giving demonstrations as Nigel Haworth’s food show returns to Ewood Park.
Around 5,000 visitors are expected at this year’s The Fantastic Food Show at the home of Blackburn Rover, which is being hosted once again by Michelin star chef and Northcote group manager, Nigel Haworth.
Joining Nigel and Northcote’s head chef Lisa Allen, will be some of the country’s best-known chefs and food experts including Aldo Zilli, Atul Kochhar, Matthew Fort, Tom Parker-Bowles and Bryn Williams.
As well as sampling and buying produce, guests will also be able to enjoy a meal in a ‘pop-up’ Ribble Valley Inn, a new feature for this year’s show.
Budding chefs will have the chance to take to the grills and compete for the crown of the North West’s BBQ Champion 2012 and Northcote Afternoon Tea will be served from 2-5pm in the Legends Lounge at the Darwen End of the stadium.
Nigel said he was really looking forward to the show.
He said: “The Fantastic Food Show is back for the third year and I can’t wait.
“We have an outstanding line-up of chefs, who will be showcasing dishes inspired from all over the world.
“The show is about quality and all our exhibitors have this in abundance.
“We have made a huge emphasis on making it a family day out with lots to entertain both adults and children. We hope you will agree.”
The Fantastic Food Show, will take place on 20 May, with support by Morrisons, Marketing Lancashire and The Mall, Blackburn.
Tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and free for children, from www.fantastic foodshow.com
