Snow and ice cause difficult driving conditions in East Lancashire
3:45pm Saturday 4th February 2012 in Blackburn
Snow and icy weather across East Lancashire this afternoon have caused difficult driving conditions.
Canal Street in Blackburn has been closed after a number of vehicles collided with parked cars.
And the Grane Road between Blackburn and Haslingden was closed because of snow.
Highways officials are calling on motorists to take extra care.

.....Well this motorist is calling on highway officials to get off their a*ses and grit/plough the f*cking roads properly. 2 hours to get from Burnley to Colne and I'm still stuck on fecking Burnley Road in standing traffic. For christs sake it's about 3 inches of snow maximum and the place literally grinds to a halt. In Canada for example theres a sh1t load of snow yet they seem to get by okay.
..... LCC highways, about as much use as t1ts on fish.
