Blackburn drug addict with 182 convictions jailed

A DRUG addict with 182 previous offences on his record accepted that magistrates had no alternative but to send him to prison when he appeared for four more offences of dishonesty.

Blackburn magistrates heard Kenneth Young was in breach of community orders imposed earlier this year which the probation service said he was making little effort to comply with.

Young, 38, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing lead from the guttering at the Islington Motel, Blackburn and three charges of theft of meat from the Spar shop on New Chapel Street and asked for seven offences to be taken into consideration.

He was sentenced to 120 days in prison.

120 days - that'll teach him. I'm entirely confident there'll be no offence number 183 from this man. A big "well done" to our legal system.

183rd time unlucky. This country has lost the plot. Make it illegal to be a drug addict and be sentenced to prison hospital. "Ooh, it'll cost too much money, human rights blah blah blah". Do it and watch crime & anti-social behaviour plummet. Come to Britain, free housing, free money and best of all, a 100% tolerance to crime! (But don't get caught with a motoring offence, then you will be screwed!)

As previously stated "New Labour" failed in their "War on Drugs". The "Drugs Intervention Programme" was, and still is, a flawed example of how to waste millions and millions of pounds of taxpayers money and achieve absloutely nothing. "New Labour" failed in relation to the importation, supply and dealing of Class A drugs because they could not accept the truth about "who" is involved in this disgusting criminal activity. Politically Correct "New Labour" allowed Hundreds of Thousands of dangerous criminals into the U.K. A very high proportion of these dangerous criminals are either, still committing drug offences, are awaiting trial for drug offences or are already in jail for drug offences. All at the U.K. taxpayers expense. "New Labour" were given the mandate to govern with a massive majority whereby they could have introduced legislation to effectively deal with the issue of illegal Class A drug use in the U.K. As we all know they did nothing except pour taxpayers money down the drain. A radical new approach needs to taken regarding Class A drugs. Remove the income from organised crime by providing Heroin to addicts via the NHS in controlled environments. This would see a fall in offending, prevent blood bourne viruses and prevent accidental overdoses. In addition increase sentences, including the provision of a death penalty, for those involved in illegally importing, suppplying and dealing Class A drugs. This would at least provide an adequate deterrent. Further to this legislate for greater International co-operation relating to Class A drugs, including the immediate deportation of any "Foreign" National who imports, suppplies or deals Class A drugs whilst in the U.K. This again would provide an adequate deterrent and it would also save the U.K. millions of pounds per year in relation to the Criminal Justice System. Moreover make the U.K.s borders secure, make it harder for "Foreign" Criminals to get into the U.K. and harder for them to import "Class A drugs". The current approach of kicking in doors and specifically targetting low level Class A dealers will never work.

But it is not addressing the problem, which is that this is a crappy country, run by the rich and powerful and oppressing the poor. People do these, and other drugs to get away from their awful lives, lives with no jobs and no future, thanks to the that demented cow thatcher and her tory cronies. This is why Britain has such a huge drink problem.
