If the report here is correct, it seems that the exemplar of modern-day terrorism is not Osama Bin Laden, but an early 17th century miscreant wearing pantaloons and a stove-pipe hat. Perhaps he is portrayed carrying a large black pudding with the word 'bomb' emblazoned in white chalk to add a touch of verisimilitude to this touching attempt to warn us all of mass-murderers in our midst.

Is this meant to instruct pupils or merely to patronise them with a Disneyland strip-cartoon version of history?

As for being groomed at school, it is more likely that witnessing the crushing to death of Margaret Clitherow in York (when Fawkes was sixteen) for the 'crime' of harbouring Catholic priests, did more to radicalise the young Fawkes than soft whispers in the playground.

Given the present state of our national politics, there may be a burgeoning market (aspiring entrepreneurs take note) for the old tee-shirt slogan: 'Guy Fawkes: The only man to enter Parliament with honest intentions.'

That would be insanely funny and have me in tears from the utter hilarity of the situation. Then it becomes clear that they are actually seriously doing this. Don't get me wrong... I find the whole counter-terrorism hilarious but when it starts feeding paranoia into 10 and 11 year olds its gone too far. I'm old enough and healthily cynical enough to laugh at the paranoia but kids really are not and they will start to grow up with these seeds of fear. Which is wrong. Its like anything, if you don't know why its happening how can you stop it? Its obvious reporting behaviour and extreme views isn't going to stop anything and in fact will probably be counter-productive to what its trying to achieve. We want to keep our children innocent yet we are asking them to start cracking down on freedom of speech. Why can't people see that this has gone too far??

In the primary schools 'now', your children are filling in forms, disguised as 'think and tell' sessions, these lessons have the children re-create getting up in a morning and breakfast time , describing tea time, when daddy comes home, and bedtime.

You see they put this stuff in quitely, then in not useing the powers, you have no clue they even have these powers, until the alloted time, then they come in all at once.

Under this agenda they are to fully militarise the education system, but worse, because these Academies are taking private money, they will be the only schools with any monies available. Under what is called 'Chaining', these Academies will drag every comprehensive into their web, because of the coming public sector cuts due to the state of the economy.
basically through these Academies they will privateise the education system, then educate whatever the heads of these Academies deem neccasary, yes these heads can change and remove any subject the want, including english-maths, and replace them with anything they choose.

Under the 'think and tell' sessions, the schools are creating an in depth picture of every child's homelife. How big are daddies cigarettes, do mummy and daddy argue, how much does daddy drink etc. All this info is then accessable by social services, who will determine who they deem 'at risk'.
Sounds ok some may say, but you are not aware of the criteria under which the 'risk' is assessed. These are the many stealth and via the compliance of the media, hidden laws and legislation the government has been putting in for 12 years. It is because they have not yet enforced most of the new statute laws, and so you have missed them.
