A DRINK driver who left the pub to move his car off yellow lines will argue special reasons why he should not be disqualified.
Ian John Mounsey, 56, of Leicester Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol. The case was adjourned for a special reasons hearing when evidence will be heard.
The court was told Mounsey had parked his car on yellow lines and left the pub to move it into a back alley a few yards away before the parking restrictions resumed.
