A VAPING company has been shortlisted for four categories in the Red Rose Awards 2018.

Blackburn’s Vape Dinner Lady, established in June 2016 by entrepreneur, Mo Patel, has been shortlisted for awards in the New Business, Medium Business, Manufacturing Business and International Achievement categories.

The company specialises in producing a range of e-liquids inspired by classic old-school puddings and recently announced a turnover of £12 million in its first 18 months of trading.

Speaking about being nominated for the awards, Mr Patel said: “We are up against some very stiff competition in all the categories so, win or lose, we are very proud to be part of championing the very best of Lancashire business, and wish everyone a wonderful night at the awards in March.”

Since its launch almost two years ago, Dinner Lady has grown its work force from two employees to sixty and now supply their products to over fifty countries worldwide.
