A view of the Grane Road
DELAYS are expected this morning after roads have been forced to close because of snow.
Both lanes of the Grane Road have been closed near Jackson Heights Road following a crash at around 7.20am.
A Highways England spokesman said the incident is affecting traffic between Blackburn and Haslingden.
He said: "Conditions are described as hazardous and gritters have been requested to re-grit the road."
Contractors have also been requested to clear the snow at the closed slip road.
The slip road at junction six of the M65 near the Whitebirk roundabout in Blackburn had closed at 8am but it has now reopened.
Traffic is still busy but clearing.
