MOTORISTS have been warned to slow down after a man was spotted walking on the M65.
The incident has happened on the eastbound section of the carriageway between junction three and junction four at 8.30am.
There are no reports that anybody has been injured.
Motorists have been advised to drive at 50mph.
A police spokesman said: "We have received a call at 8.30am from a member of the public who had been travelling on the eastbound junction of the M65 close to the Blackburn turn-off. They said they had seen a man on the viaduct crossing the motorway. The viaduct is not for public use and is between junction three and four. There are no reports of anybody being injured."
