A MAN was been jailed for eight months after admitting to using threatening words and behaviour towards a woman.
Preston Crown Court heard Wajid Khan, 33, of The Larches, Blackburn, committed the offence in Blackburn on May 25.
Allegations that Khan committed attempted rape, assault and made threats to kill were left to lie on file.
Judge Simon Newell also imposed a five year restraining order preventing Khan from contacting the victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, directly or indirectly.
Khan must also pay a £140 victim surcharge.
